Job summary

Cengage is seeking a Sales Executive to lead Higher Education and Gale initiatives across Queensland, Australia and New Zealand. You will cultivate university and library partnerships, promote Cengage Higher Education and Gale resources, and drive renewals and new opportunities.

You will manage a dynamic territory, coordinate with internal teams, and maintain a robust Salesforce CRM pipeline to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.
• Familiar with higher education, academic libraries or educational technology.
• Ability to manage a diverse territory and develop opportunities.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with universities, academics and librarians is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Grow Cengage's Higher Education and Gale business in Queensland and build strategic relationships.
• Develop territory and account plans to achieve sales targets across universities and libraries.
• Promote Higher Education print and digital learning products as well as Gale databases and archives.
• Manage renewals, subscriptions and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Marketing, Product and Sales teams to deliver value.
• Represent Cengage at conferences, campus visits and industry events.
