Job summary

Yes Medical Group in Melbourne is seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across Australia & New Zealand. You will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and onboarding to ongoing account management, with cross-functional support from marketing, supply chain and sales teams.

The role offers hybrid work in Melbourne, a competitive salary, and up to 10% annual bonus, plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business, or related field; an advanced degree (Masters or MBA) is a plus.
4+ years in business development or sales in a CRO.
In-depth knowledge of the clinical research process, including regulatory guidelines.
Strong network of contacts within pharma/biotech with ability to convert leads.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

Identify and research prospects and manage leads in CRM.
Engage clients via drop-ins, phone calls, and follow-ups with tailored proposals.
Onboard new clients coordinating internal teams for smooth delivery.
Maintain ongoing client relationships and identify upsell opportunities.
Provide weekly reports on sales progress and pipeline status.
Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and sales support teams.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and sales targets.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitive landscape.
Lead and manage a team of business development professionals.
