IAG, Australia’s largest general insurance group, is hiring an Operational Governance Principal. In this permanent, full-time role, you’ll shape governance strategy for a major technology transformation and collaborate with risk, cyber security and business teams to strengthen resilience.

You’ll influence senior stakeholders, establish governance forums and reporting, monitor risk appetite and vendor performance, and drive continuous improvement across platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Experience leading governance, risk, compliance or assurance initiatives in large organisations.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk and control frameworks in practice.
• Experience guiding large-scale technology transformation programs.

Aufgaben

• Shape and drive the operational governance strategy across a complex technology transformation program.
• Lead governance, risk, compliance and assurance activities including tech, cyber and AI risk oversight.
• Establish and enhance governance forums, controls, reporting and decision-making processes.
• Monitor risk appetite and provide executive reporting to inform decisions.
• Influence senior leaders with clear insights and practical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvements to governance maturity and platform resilience.
• Partner with technology, risk, cyber security and external providers to achieve outcomes.
• Oversee vendor governance and ensure service performance and compliance.
