Job summary

IAG is seeking a Manager, Application Strategy & Governance to lead technology strategy and platform direction across Claims, Communications and Supply Chain. You will guide architecture governance, drive roadmaps and champion AI adoption, leading a team of senior technology professionals to deliver critical outcomes.

This permanent full-time role is based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney), Naarm (Melbourne) or Meanjin (Brisbane).

Qualifications

• Strong technology leadership experience within large, complex enterprise environments.
• Background in senior technology platform or architecture leadership roles.
• Proven experience delivering technology strategy and platform roadmaps.
• Experience leading senior technical professionals and communities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Technology Leads and Platform Leaders.
• Provide technology leadership across strategic programs, platforms, and transformation initiatives.
• Drive solution design, architecture governance, and technology decision-making.
• Partner with business, architecture, engineering, and delivery teams to achieve outcomes.
• Own technology roadmaps and platform strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Champion innovation, AI adoption and modern engineering practices.
• Balance technical excellence, operational stability, and delivery outcomes.
