Job summary

IAG, Australia's leading general insurance group, seeks a Delivery Governance Practice Manager to drive portfolio governance, delivery performance and resource planning across Enterprise Services. You’ll lead the PMO, ensuring transparent delivery and alignment with strategic priorities, partnering with senior leaders to enable high-performing teams at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years' experience leading delivery, portfolio or PMO functions within large, complex organisations.
• Proven leadership of complex portfolios, programs or PMOs with governance and delivery oversight.
• Experience producing executive portfolio reporting with delivery performance visibility.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage investment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve the PMO operating model, delivery standards and governance frameworks for Enterprise Services.
• Drive workforce planning, resource allocation and capacity management for PMO and BA teams.
• Enable data-driven portfolio planning with reporting, KPIs and forecasting.
• Establish and maintain portfolio governance, including funding oversight and investment transparency.
• Embed delivery rhythms, controls and ways of working to strengthen project execution.
• Develop, coach and uplift PM and BA capability with clear development pathways.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to support decision-making and delivery of investments.
• Champion governance excellence and continuous improvement across the portfolio.
