Job summary

IAG is seeking a senior leader to drive operational governance and compliance across complex technology environments. You will champion risk management, build governance frameworks, and coordinate remediation with senior stakeholders to ensure delivery excellence.

Based in Australia with hybrid work options, the role focuses on embedding accountability and continuous improvement within the technology operations portfolio.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading operational compliance, governance and risk management initiatives within complex technology environments.
• Experience developing governance frameworks, schedules and reporting, including Tableau and ServiceNow dashboards.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across teams and leadership groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead and champion operational compliance across the portfolio, ensuring adherence to regulatory, governance and internal standards.
• Drive risk management activities by identifying, assessing and coordinating remediation of operational, delivery and technology risks.
• Chair risk and compliance forums, enabling informed decision-making and strong operational oversight.
• Establish and maintain governance frameworks aligned to Agile delivery methodologies and departmental objectives.
• Oversee portfolio resource demand, budget alignment and compliance obligations to support effective delivery outcomes.
• Monitor operational health, control effectiveness and governance performance across key technology functions.
• Develop governance dashboards and reporting, proactively escalating issues and driving corrective actions where required.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration and shared accountability for compliance, governance and risk management.
