Job summary

The City of Monash is seeking a Coordinator Facilities Maintenance to lead day-to-day coordination of maintenance and operations across more than 400 buildings. Based at the Monash Operations Centre, you will contribute to a long-term lifecycle plan for council facilities and assets.

Ideal candidates will hold a building practitioner or civil engineering certification (or equivalent) and have proven experience in contract, project and asset management, with strong stakeholder relationships and

Qualifications

• Building practitioner or civil engineering certification (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in project, contract, financial and asset management.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
• Experience in managing a team including professional development.
• Experience using current business software packages.
• Excellent written communication skills to prepare and present material.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day coordination of planned and reactive maintenance and operations across 400+ buildings.
• Assist in developing a long-term strategic lifecycle plan for council facilities and assets.
• Coordinate contracts and works programs related to facility maintenance.
• Optimize building maintenance programs and facility services.
