Job summary

Department of Communities and Justice NSW is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to support the Lead Maintenance Coordinator in delivering maintenance programs across multiple sites. You will manage contracts, monitor contractor performance, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure outcomes meet timeframes, budgets and quality standards.

The role involves travel, a dynamic work environment and collaboration within the Infrastructure & Assets team to deliver value for money and compliant maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance across a large property portfolio.
• Contract management and service provider oversight.
• Knowledge of statutory maintenance requirements and risk management.
• Ability to interpret maintenance data and financial reports.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in government or complex environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facilities maintenance services across DCJ facilities.
• Ensure assets remain fit for purpose and compliant.
• Review and approve maintenance works and monitor service delivery.
• Travel across the region to various sites as required.
• Engage with stakeholders and provide reporting on outcomes.
