Job summary

Event Cinemas George Street in Sydney is seeking a Conference & Events Manager to lead planning and delivery of corporate events, conferences and screenings. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Operations, F&B and Technical teams to ensure flawless execution and outstanding client experiences.

Bring a passion for hospitality, strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple events while maintaining high standards and client relationships throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Experience in conferences, events, hospitality, venue management or customer-focused operational roles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning, organisation and execution of distributor and corporate events, conferences, film festivals, private screenings and special functions.
• Work closely with the Operations, Food & Beverage, Technical and HQ Sales teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Prepare event orders, run sheets, contracts and client communications, ensuring all event details are accurate and clearly communicated.
• Conduct site inspections and guide clients through the venue's unique event offerings to create tailored event solutions.
• Oversee events on-site and act as the key point of contact to ensure every experience is delivered to the highest standard.
• Maintain strong client relationships before, during and after events, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Manage event administration, invoicing, booking systems and reporting requirements.
