Job summary

CA ANZ in Sydney is seeking a proactive Conference Centre Coordinator to support day-to-day operations of the Sydney Conference Centre. In this hands-on role, you will assist in delivering professional events and functions, ensuring every guest experiences a seamless and welcoming service.

Reporting to the Conference Centre Manager NSW, you will coordinate room set-ups, catering, AV requirements and on-the-day event support, thriving in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and contributing

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, functions or events coordination.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Confidence using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• RSA certification and food safety knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Conference Centre functions, events and room set-ups to meet stakeholder requirements.
• Provide exceptional customer service and act as a key contact for event attendees and clients.
• Manage catering, stock levels, room presentation and event logistics.
• Support the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment.
• Maintain safe and compliant practices relating to food handling, workplace safety and responsible service of alcohol.
• Identify opportunities to improve services, processes and customer experiences.
