Simplot in Melbourne’s Mentone office is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to own end-to-end forecasting, partnering with Sales, Supply Planning, and Finance to deliver accurate demand insights and integrated plans. You will develop insight-led demand plans by combining customer, commercial and operational inputs.

You will translate market signals, promotions and customer inputs into actionable forecasts, drive forecast accuracy, and support planning improvements in a highly collaborative

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or related discipline.
• Strong forecasting and demand analytics capability with statistical methods.
• Experience with planning platforms such as SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Blueshift, Logility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts aligned to business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Experience and Finance to create a single view of demand.
• Translate market signals and promotions into actionable demand plans.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve accuracy.
• Provide scenario analysis to support planning and decision-making.
