Simplot in Mentone, Melbourne, is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our APAC team in a permanent full-time role. You will own the end-to-end forecasting process and partner with commercial and supply chain teams to drive better outcomes.

Develop insight-led demand plans by integrating customer insights, promotions, and market signals, and translate them into actionable plans with Sales, Finance and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting or related discipline.
• Strong forecasting analytics and data interpretation skills.
• Experience with SAP IBP or similar planning platforms.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts aligned to business objectives.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Experience and Finance to build a single view of demand.
• Translate promotional activity and customer insights into actionable plans.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve accuracy.
• Provide recommendations and scenario analyses to support planning.
• Utilize forecasting systems to drive excellence and improve outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
