Job summary

Pact Group is seeking a proactive Demand Planner for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Melbourne. You will lead rolling demand forecasts by closely collaborating with Sales, Supply Chain, Finance and Manufacturing to embed robust S&OP processes across the division.

Requirements include manufacturing experience, SAP proficiency, and strong analytical capabilities. You will contribute to continuous improvement, reporting, and system enhancements to drive forecast accuracy and customer fulfilment.

Qualifications

• Depth of experience in demand planning gained within manufacturing environments.
• Experience establishing or improving demand planning and S&OP processes.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving capability.
• Exposure to ERP systems, SAP.
• Experience with statistical forecasting models and machine learning methodologies.
• Change management and continuous improvement experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a rolling, collaborative sales forecast.
• Lead and support the S&OP and S&OE planning cadence.
• Analyse demand performance, identify risks and recommend solutions.
• Develop reporting across volume, pricing, customers and new business trends.
• Improve forecast accuracy, customer fulfilment and planning processes.
• Maintain demand planning tools, templates, KPIs and operating rhythms.
• Support system and process improvement projects across the division.
