Job summary

McCormick Australia in Melbourne seeks a Demand Planning & Customer Service Manager to lead the IBP-driven planning and deliver superior service. You will balance forecast accuracy, inventory, and cost while guiding a high-performing team across demand planning and customer service functions.

You’ll partner with sales, finance and operations to drive data-driven decisions, manage risks, and shape the future of supply chain performance for iconic brands enjoyed by Australians and globally.

Qualifications

• Experience in Demand Planning within FMCG or similar fast-moving environment.
• Proven leadership of high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with IBP/S&OP or similar planning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Demand Planning team to develop and maintain a rolling 24-month forecast across all customers and product categories.
• Drive forecast accuracy through data analytics, statistical modelling, market insights and cross-functional collaboration.
• Facilitate the weekly Integrated Tactical Planning (ITP) process to align demand, supply and priorities.
• Lead and develop the Customer Service team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and strengthen partnerships.
• Proactively identify risks and opportunities within the supply chain and implement mitigation strategies.
• Own the Slow Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) management process, driving accountability and action plans across the business.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Planning to support informed decisions.
• Coach and develop team members to reach their full potential.
