Job summary

Simplot is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join our Mentone team on a permanent full-time basis. You will own end-to-end forecasting and partner with commercial and supply chain teams to drive better business outcomes.

You will create insight-led demand plans by integrating customer data, promotions, and market signals, translating them into actionable actions for Sales, Finance and Operations. A collaborative role with a focus on forecasting excellence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or related discipline.
• Strong forecasting and demand analytics capability.
• Experience with SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Blueshift, Logility or similar systems.
• Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts aligned to business objectives.
• Collaborate with Sales, Supply Planning, Customer Experience and Finance to create a single demand view.
• Translate promotions and insights into actionable demand plans.
• Monitor forecast performance, identify risks and opportunities, and improve accuracy.
• Provide scenario analysis to support planning and decisions.
• Leverage planning tools to drive forecasting excellence and outcomes.
• Build cross-functional relationships and drive continuous improvement.
