Job summary

Sydney Metro, Australia’s premier driverless rail project leader, seeks a Senior Transport Manager to shape strategy, governance and delivery across the Project Delivery division. You will align priorities with government objectives, lead executive decision-making and guide a high-performing team through complex program governance.

In this fixed-term full-time role you’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting while building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across Transport

Qualifications

• Experience in leading major projects or construction programs.
• Strong governance, risk management and assurance abilities.
• Ability to translate priorities into actionable deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to the Head of Project Delivery.
• Lead business planning, performance reporting and strategic initiatives.
• Build relationships with senior executives and external stakeholders to influence outcomes.
• Collaborate to resolve complex issues, manage risk and align priorities.
• Drive governance, risk and assurance to strengthen decision-making and delivery.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance monitoring.
• Prepare executive briefings and reports to inform strategic decisions.
