Job summary

Sydney Metro is seeking a Senior Business Manager to drive strategy, governance and performance for the Project Delivery division. You will provide executive leadership, shape planning and reporting, and translate priorities into delivery outcomes.

You will build senior stakeholder relationships, oversee budgeting and risk, mentor a high-performing team and ensure delivery excellence in a major infrastructure program.

Qualifications

Experience delivering large, complex programs in government or similar environments.
Strong financial and governance controls, with evidence of executive reporting.
Able to influence senior stakeholders and navigate ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic business and operational leadership to the Head of Project Delivery.
Lead business planning, performance reporting and strategic initiatives.
Build trusted relationships with senior executives to influence outcomes.
Collaborate to resolve issues, manage risk and align priorities.
Drive governance, risk and assurance activities for decision-making.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and performance monitoring.
Prepare executive briefings and reports to inform decisions.
Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team.
