Job summary

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) seeks a Corridor Stakeholder Coordinator to unite PTA, freight operators and project teams across WA’s rail corridor. You will coordinate access for works, provide specialist land and rail advice, and drive discussions to resolve complex project and operational challenges.

Lead and empower teams in a fast-paced stakeholder environment with experience in approvals management or project coordination. Fixed-term to 31 October 2028, with potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical expertise, including the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, agreements and land tenure arrangements.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build productive stakeholder relationships, negotiate outcomes, prepare clear written documentation, and contribute effectively within a customer-focused team environment.
• Substantial experience in people management, including the ability to develop staff and manage teams in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access arrangements for works within the corridor and liaise with PTA, freight rail operators and external stakeholders seeking access.
• Provide specialist advice on land and rail matters and facilitate discussions to resolve project and operational challenges.
• Lead, develop and empower teams in a complex stakeholder environment.
