Job summary

Ogilvy Australia in Perth is seeking an experienced PR Consultant (Account Manager) to join the team on a 12-month contract with potential to extend. You’ll be based in Perth, collaborating with The Brand Agency locally and the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney on corporate client campaigns.

You will develop stories, manage media relationships, and deliver high-quality communications across stakeholders while supporting day-to-day account activity and large-scale campaigns.

Qualifications

• PR or communications experience at Account Manager level.
• Experience with corporate, business, technology clients.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape.
• Proven track record of securing editorial coverage.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communications campaigns for a major project.
• Work closely with The Brand Agency team in Perth and the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and campaign activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian media.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and pitch compelling stories.
• Develop high-quality communications materials such as media releases and thought leadership content.
• Immerse yourself in the client’s business and industry.
• Stay across competitors and the broader energy landscape.
• Think beyond earned media to multi-channel storytelling.
• Support integrated campaigns that connect messages and channels.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail.
• Contribute ideas and strategic recommendations to meet client objectives.
