Job summary

Ogilvy Public Relations is seeking an experienced Consultant (Account Manager) to join our Perth team on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend.

You’ll be based in Perth and work closely with The Brand Agency team locally while collaborating remotely with the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney, delivering integrated communications for a major corporate client. You’ll develop stories, manage media relations, and ensure high-quality outputs across audiences.

Qualifications

• PR or communications experience at Account Manager level or equivalent.
• Experience with corporate, business, technology clients.
• Strong knowledge of Australian media landscape.
• Track record of securing editorial coverage.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communications campaigns for a major project.
• Work with The Brand Agency Perth and Ogilvy PR Sydney.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and campaign activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian media.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and pitch stories.
• Develop media releases, pitches, briefing documents and thought leadership content.
• Immerse yourself in client’s business, networks and industry.
• Stay across competitors and energy landscape.
• Think beyond earned media across channels.
• Support integrated campaigns.
• Manage multiple projects and timelines.
• Contribute ideas to client objectives.
