Job summary

Ogilvy Australia in Perth is seeking an experienced PR Consultant (Account Manager) to join our team on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend. You’ll lead client communications, develop stories and manage media relationships across corporate, business and technology sectors.

You’ll work closely with The Brand Agency team in Perth and the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney, delivering high‑quality campaigns and engaging content for a major corporate client while staying ahead of industry

Qualifications

• PR or communications experience at Account Manager level or equivalent.
• Experience working with corporate, business, technology, or related clients.
• Strong writing, communication and media relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communications campaigns for a major project.
• Work closely with The Brand Agency team in Perth and the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney.
• Manage day‑to‑day client communications and campaign activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian media.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and pitch compelling stories.
• Develop high‑quality media releases, pitches, briefing documents and thought leadership content.
• Immerse yourself in the client’s business, networks, issues and industry.
• Stay across competitors, industry developments and the broader energy landscape.
• Think beyond earned media to identify how stories can come to life across multiple channels.
• Support integrated campaigns that connect communications, channels and messages.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute ideas and strategic recommendations that help achieve client objectives.
