Ogilvy Australia in Perth is seeking an experienced PR Consultant (Account Manager) to join the team on a 12-month contract, with potential to extend. You’ll work closely with the Brand Agency team in Perth and collaborate remotely with the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney to service a major corporate client.

Qualifications

• PR or communications experience at Account Manager level or equivalent.
• Experience with corporate, business, technology or related clients.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape and established media relationships.
• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisation and campaign delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communications campaigns for a major project.
• Work closely with The Brand Agency team in Perth and the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and campaign activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian media.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and pitch compelling stories.
• Develop high-quality communications materials, including media releases, pitches, briefing documents and thought leadership content.
• Immerse yourself in the client’s business, networks, issues and industry.
• Stay across competitors, industry developments and the broader energy landscape.
• Think beyond earned media to identify how stories can come to life across multiple channels.
• Support integrated campaigns that connect communications, channels and messages.
• Manage multiple projects, timelines and stakeholders with strong attention to detail.
• Contribute ideas and strategic recommendations that help achieve client objectives.
