Job summary

Ogilvy is seeking an experienced PR Consultant (Account Manager) to join our Perth team on a 12-month contract with potential to extend. You’ll be based in Perth and collaborate with the Brand Agency team locally while working with the Ogilvy PR team in Sydney.

You’ll support corporate communications, media relations and integrated campaigns, translating complex topics into clear stories for media and diverse audiences, while managing multi-stakeholder delivery and timelines.

Qualifications

• Experience handling corporate, business, technology or related clients.
• Strong knowledge of the Australian media landscape.
• Proven track record in developing stories and securing editorial coverage.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of communications campaigns for a major project.
• Work closely with Perth Brand Agency and Sydney Ogilvy PR teams.
• Manage day-to-day client communications and campaign activity.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Australian media.
• Identify proactive media opportunities and pitch compelling stories.
• Develop high-quality communications materials, including media releases and pitches.
