Job summary

MMS is seeking a strategic Head of Client Engagement in Melbourne to lead client marketing, bid management and GTM initiatives across Maxxia, RemServ and Interleasing, driving growth and client value.

The role combines vision with hands-on leadership, guiding cross‑functional teams, aligning sales and marketing, and delivering measurable improvements in client satisfaction, retention and acquisition in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Proven sales or marketing leader with 5-10 years’ experience across multi-channel environments.
• Financial services and complex product expertise.
• Strong track record securing major B2B accounts and exceeding targets.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation and executive stakeholder management skills.
• Experience launching products, leading complex deals and driving commercial outcomes.
• Data-driven, customer-focused and innovative in delivering growth.

Responsibilities

• Shape and implement client strategies for MMS, advising stakeholders on market approaches to achieve sales targets.
• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Client Marketing and Bid Management teams, ensuring alignment of client and medium enterprise priorities with the broader MMS Group business plan.
• Lead Go-to-Market strategies for client and medium business segments, including driving and implementing strategic value additions to our proposition.
• Develop and execute annual budgets and client growth forecasts; monitor expenses across product lines, initiating corrective actions as required.
• Support bid management and tender processes to secure new business.
• Drive efficiency and productivity within the bid management and client marketing functions through effective workforce planning and resourcing strategies.
• Ensure close alignment with stakeholders across sales, distribution, consumer, and digital marketing to provide intelligence that informs strategies and optimizes performance.
• Foster a high-performing culture by building effective teams, leveraging individual and collective strengths, and implementing targeted development actions.

In this Senior Leadership role you will combine strategic vision with operational excellence as you develop, shape and execute strategies that elevate client relationships and drive business growth.

As Head of Client Engagement you will oversee client marketing initiatives for our major brands of Maxxia, RemServ and Interleasing, ensuring seamless integration between our Business Development and Marketing functions. In addition to implementing a robust Go-to-Market strategy for medium-sized businesses, you will play a critical role in supporting bid management and tender processes to secure new business opportunities across client segments of 300+ employees.

By enhancing brand presence and delivering exceptional client experiences, you will promote MMS’s value proposition while positioning us as a trusted partner in the market, fostering loyalty and realising long-term value. The role combines strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership to deliver measurable improvements in client satisfaction, retention, and acquisition, while ensuring marketing and sales efforts are fully integrated and optimised for growth.
