Job summary

Haneco Lighting Australia in Old Guildford NSW is seeking a Commercial Product Manager to assess market needs, develop category plans and manage products through sourcing, launch, performance review and withdrawal.

You will drive pricing discipline, review margins and inventory, coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and technical teams, and build business cases for new products and range changes.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management, product management, buying or a comparable commercial role.
• Experience in lighting, electrical products or another technical product market.
• Strong ability to analyse pricing, landed costs, gross margin and inventory performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop category plans and product roadmaps informed by customer needs, market intelligence and commercial performance.
• Review sales, gross margin, pricing, product mix and inventory results, and recommend actions to improve outcomes.
• Build business cases for new products and range changes, including demand, landed cost, pricing and risk.
• Manage supplier relationships and work with internal teams to address cost, quality, service and product availability.
• Coordinate product launches so stock, product information, sales support and approvals are ready.
• Work with Sales and technical teams on commercial projects, including quotations, lead times and pricing approvals.
• Maintain visibility of the project pipeline and communicate material risks and opportunities.
