Job summary

The Murrina Group Pty Ltd is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional to expand our client base in Melbourne and Victoria. You will manage end-to-end relationships, pursue new opportunities, and work with operations and estimating teams to tailor lifting solutions that meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales within construction, crane hire, heavy equipment, civil, or related industries.
• Strong understanding of the tender process and project procurement.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in presenting to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into long-term partnerships.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated with a strong customer focus.
• Current Victorian Driver Licence.
• Construction white card.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Melbourne and Victoria.
• Attend client meetings, site visits, and project briefings.
• Manage client liaison throughout tender and pre-hire stages.
• Coordinate tender stage activities, including gathering project information and supporting the preparation of submissions.
• Arrange and attend initial project meetings to understand client requirements.
• Work closely with operations and estimating teams to ensure proposed lifting solutions meet client expectations.
• Represent the Murrina Group professionally at industry events and networking opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and business development activities.
