Job summary

Amex in Sydney is seeking a Business Development Executive for the Small Business segment to acquire high-value customers and deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives acquisition.

The role involves prospecting new business, managing the Salesforce pipeline, and acting as the interface between Amex and customers to resolve processing issues. You will attend industry events and collaborate with partners to grow spend.

Qualifications

• Adaptability to working in a regulated industry with compliant selling practices.
• Experience in consultative B2B sales and account management.
• Track record of acquiring new business and exceeding sales targets in a phone-based environment.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement and developing sales strategies.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new customers from existing leads and cold calls to promote lead and revenue generation.
• Ensure effective usage of Salesforce to track and report pipeline, acquisition results, and market conditions.
• Act as the interface between Amex and the customer to resolve any application processing issues.
• Attend relevant industry and partner conferences, tradeshows, and networking events.
