Job summary

Supported Care in Southeast Queensland is seeking an experienced Rostering & Workforce Optimisation Specialist to lead a critical organisational improvement project focused on workforce planning, roster optimisation, compliance, workforce analytics and technology integration. This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with full-time hours, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, scheduling, rostering or workforce optimisation.
Strong understanding of SCHADS Award interpretation and workforce compliance.
Experience developing workforce forecasts, staffing models and workforce strategies.
Advanced Excel, reporting and workforce analytics capability.
Strong stakeholder engagement, project management and change leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Review current workforce and rostering practices, identify opportunities for improvement and deliver sustainable solutions.
Develop forecasting models, staffing strategies and dashboards aligned to demand.
Introduce AI-enabled workforce planning and rostering where appropriate.
Create workforce dashboards, reporting frameworks and actionable insights.
Ensure workforce compliance across SCHADS Award, Fair Work and NDIS requirements.
Partner with executive leaders to influence strategic workforce planning and rostering governance.
