Job summary

Sealed Air in Sydney is seeking an Account Manager to be the face of the company in the territory, build strong client relationships, identify new opportunities, and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

You will manage existing accounts, drive revenue, forecast demand, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery while upholding Sealed Air standards and pricing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated Sales experience, with Account Management and Business Development experience.
• Direct experience with protective packaging; exposure to ecommerce/retail/3PL can be advantageous.
• Proven ability to build and nurture customer relationships.
• History of identifying, nurturing, and securing new business.
• Industrial packaging materials/equipment experience.
• Strong decision-making, self-management and time management skills.
• Strategic planning and analytical capabilities; excellent communication.
• Organised, systematic thinker comfortable in a matrix organization.
• Proficient with Office 365 / Word, Excel & PowerPoint; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve maximum sales at highest margin returns.
• Service, maintain and grow designated customer base.
• Develop relationships with key decision makers to further business interests.
• Forecast customer requirements and manage inventory accordingly.
• Manage Sealed Air inventory within company guidelines.
• Assist in collections and enforce trading terms as needed.
• Prepare presentations and coordinate training for customer personnel.
• Provide timely, accurate reports including in-plant audits.
• Maintain records (price books, scorecards, CRM, files).
• Travel interstate or overseas as required.
