Job summary

Sealed Air Australia is seeking a Packaging Engineer (Internal title: Application Development Engineer) to support growth of our Material & Equipment portfolios by maintaining, developing and promoting our offer.

The role focuses on managing New Product and existing product trials via the DVP&R process, training sales and customers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver packaging solutions across Australia.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of packaging materials and their applications.
• Experience identifying material attributes to meet customer needs.
• Ability to build and maintain professional customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and/or supervise customer on-site trials to ensure positive outcomes.
• Own and drive the DVP&R process for new and existing products.
• Conduct customer training on Sealed Air materials and interaction with packaging equipment.
• Provide timely reports on projects, trials, materials and systems.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Portfolio and Equipment groups to develop applications and proposals.
