Job summary

Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers is seeking an experienced Account Executive to drive new business across Australia from Sydney or Melbourne. You will own a regional territory, engage senior stakeholders and sell the full Rouse portfolio with a consultative, value-led approach.

Key responsibilities include growing the territory, leading the full sales cycle, and building industry relationships while collaborating with RB Global teams to achieve targets.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in construction equipment, equipment rental, OEM/dealer, machinery trading, equipment finance, auction/remarketing or related sector.
• Proven B2B sales success including prospecting, territory development and closing multi-stakeholder opportunities.
• Understanding of equipment lifecycle including rental rates, utilisation, fleet planning, used values, replacement and disposal.
• Credible with senior decision-makers; comfortable presenting data and technology solutions, negotiating and managing a CRM-driven pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory with an Australia-wide sales plan and a consistent new-business pipeline.
• Own the sales cycle from prospecting to close, including demonstrations, trials, proposals and negotiations.
• Sell consultatively, linking Rouse solutions to customer needs across rental performance, fleet investment and used equipment values.
• Build relationships with decision-makers across rental companies, OEMs, dealers, traders, and finance providers.
• Collaborate with internal RB Global teams to scope opportunities and support successful customer adoption.
• Deliver results by maintaining accurate Salesforce reporting and meeting pipeline and revenue targets.
