The University of Newcastle is seeking an Academic Administration & Compliance Coordinator to support academic governance, regulatory compliance and the quality of our programs. You will coordinate governance activities, interpret policies, and provide practical guidance to staff across the university.

Qualificações

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex documents.
• Excellent written communication skills, including clear, precise reporting.
• Experience in policy, governance, compliance, quality assurance or regulatory affairs.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple processes.
• Sound judgement and the confidence to provide informed advice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Academic governance: Coordinate program and course approvals and provide secretariat support to governance committees.
• Regulatory compliance: Monitor compliance with legislation, frameworks and higher education standards.
• Policy and advice: Interpret policies and provide practical guidance to staff.
• Program quality and accreditation: Coordinate accreditation activities and maintain records.
• Review and continuous improvement: Contribute to policy reviews and QA activities.
• Stakeholder engagement: Build relationships across Schools, Colleges and service areas.
