Job summary

Strata Choice Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an experienced Strata Finance professional to join our dynamic team and grow your career. You will manage complex finance tasks across a diverse client base and collaborate with expert Strata Managers.

You will own end-to-end finance processes, including year-end, banking, billing, and BAS/GST duties, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance with clear, timely communications.

Qualifications

• Experience in Strata Finance is essential.
• Experience with Strata Master will be highly regarded.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate well with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage strata finance activities supporting compliant, efficient, client-focused service.
• Lead year end processes and banking activities.
• Handle management fees, levy generation and billing matters.
• Oversee creditor payments and related cashflow.
• Address BAS/GST/ATO issues and tax returns.
• Manage investment accounts and onboarding/offboarding of businesses.
• Coordinate with external processing teams to meet SLAs and standards.
• Maintain high standards of financial governance and regulatory compliance.
• Foster strong cross-team relationships through clear, timely communication and documentation.

What does this role involve?

This role is accountable for managing the strata finance activities that support the delivery of compliant, efficient and client focused service for Strata Management.

Success in this area will be achieved by efficiently executing finance activities such as:

• Financial year end processes
• Banking
• Management Fees
• Levy generation and billing matters
• Creditor and creditor payments
• BAS/GST/ATO issues and tax returns
• Investment accounts management
• Onboarding and offboarding new and lost businesses
• Effectively coordinating with the external processing team to ensure financial tasks and queries are actioned accurately, efficiently and within agreed service standards and SLAs.
• Maintaining high standards of financial governance and ensuring processes are compliant with legislative, regulatory and company requirements.
• Building strong and collaborative relationships across the business through clear, timely and effective communication.
• Ensuring all processes and procedures are effectively documented.
