Job summary

Crystalbrook Sam in Adelaide is seeking a Stores Assistant to join the pre-opening team, ensuring stores and inventory are established from the ground up.

You will help manage deliveries, stock levels and support hospitality teams with a hands-on, detail-focused approach to keep operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stores, receiving, inventory, warehousing or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using computer systems to manage stock and records.
• Understanding of stock rotation, inventory control and safe storage practices.
• Ability to undertake the physical requirements of a hands-on stores role, including manual handling.
• Proactive approach and the confidence to work independently when required.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support colleagues across departments.
• Availability to work full time across a 7-day roster.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, checking and accurately recording incoming deliveries.
• Ensuring goods are stored safely, securely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and supporting regular stocktakes.
• Monitoring inventory levels and assisting with stock replenishment.
• Coordinating stock requests and distribution across hotel departments.
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders and reporting discrepancies.
• Maintaining clean, organised storerooms.
• Supporting appropriate food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
• Building positive working relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline stores operations.

A new chapter of responsible luxury is coming to Adelaide, and we are looking for a Stores Assistant to join the pre-opening team at Crystalbrook Sam.

As our Stores Assistant, you will play an essential role in the daily operations of our hotel, ensuring our teams have the supplies, products and equipment they need to deliver memorable guest experiences.

From managing deliveries and maintaining stock levels to supporting our culinary, food and beverage, and operational teams, you will be at the heart of the action.

The Role

Working collaboratively across Crystalbrook Sam, you will help establish and maintain efficient stores and inventory operations from the very beginning.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

You are naturally organised, enjoy working with people and understand that the smallest details can make the biggest difference.

Ideally, You Will Bring

Experience within hospitality, hotels or food and beverage operations would be welcomed, but we are equally interested in individuals from other industries who bring the right attitude, transferable skills and enthusiasm to learn.
