City of Greater Geelong is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Inventory and Procurement Officer to manage stock, ordering, receiving, storage and tracking for council operations in Geelong. You will maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels and support cost-effective, compliant supply chain processes while providing timely service to internal departments and the community.

In this role, you will manage the City’s inventory and procurement activities, ensuring materials and supplies are available when needed. You will oversee ordering, receiving, storage and tracking, maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels and support efficient, cost effective and compliant supply chain operations.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven experience working in a stores or inventory environment, with the ability to learn new processes and systems on the job. You will also bring relevant training, qualifications or courses, along with a strong commitment to providing reliable and efficient service.
