Queensland Rail in Bowen Hills, Brisbane, seeks a Storeperson for a permanent full-time role with travel to Roma Street for provisioning. Rotating roster 07:00–19:30, includes public holidays and overtime for operational needs.

You will receive, inspect and manage stock, support long-distance train services, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while delivering excellent customer service to staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Hold a current C class driver's licence (MR licence desirable)
• Experience in food and beverage handling and stock management
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and delivering quality outcomes

Responsabilités

• Receive, inspect and assist managing stock with quality and safety in mind
• Maintain stock control, safe storage, rotation and inventory management
• Provisioning/de-provisioning of long-distance train services on arrival/departure
• General cleaning, store and office duties for a safe, efficient work environment

• Assist with additional operational duties as required by the Food and Beverage Operations Officer or Manager Catering

Role / Hours:

This is a permanent full-time role based in Bowen Hills, with regular travel to Roma Street to provision and de-provision long-distance train services.

You will work a rotating roster between 07:00 and 19:30, Monday to Sunday. Flexibility is required to meet operational needs, including public holidays and overtime when required.

Purpose that Counts. As a Storeperson, some of your duties will include:

• Receive, inspect and assist managing stock, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain stock control practices, including safe storage, stock rotation and inventory management.
• Assist with the provisioning and de-provisioning of long-distance train services on arrival and departure.
• Undertake general cleaning, store and office duties to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with additional operational duties as required by the Food and Beverage Operations Officer or Manager Catering.

Candidates must currently hold the following pre-employment qualifications:

• Hold a current ‘C’ class drivers licence. An MR Licence is highly desirable but not essential
