Queensland Rail is seeking a Storeperson for a permanent full-time role based in Bowen Hills, with regular travel to Roma Street to provision and de-provision long-distance train services.

You will work a rotating roster from 07:00 to 19:30, Monday to Sunday, with flexibility for public holidays and overtime when required. The position offers a supportive team, 5 weeks annual leave, and opportunities to broaden skills across operations while maintaining safety and high service standards.

• Experience delivering quality customer service
• Previous experience in food and beverage handling and stock management
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Receive, inspect and assist managing stock, ensuring products meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain stock control practices, including safe storage, stock rotation and inventory management.
• Assist with the provisioning and de-provisioning of long-distance train services on arrival and departure.
• Undertake general cleaning, store and office duties to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external customers.
• Assist with additional operational duties as required by the Food and Beverage Operations Officer or Manager Catering.
