Qualifications

• Experience managing day-to-day retail store operations.
• Proven ability to recruit, train, supervise and motivate staff.
• Strong budgeting, cost control and sales-monitoring capabilities.
• Knowledge of stock management, inventory control and merchandising.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with WHS/OHS requirements and safe workplace practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of Friends Grocer and ensure high customer service standards.
• Determine product ranges, stock levels and service standards based on customer needs.
• Develop purchasing strategies to maintain stock levels and minimise wastage.
• Set pricing, purchasing and promotional strategies in line with business objectives.
• Coordinate marketing, promotions and advertising to boost sales.
• Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to improve revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of stock, sales, purchases, and expenses.
• Oversee inventory management and stock replenishment processes.
• Prepare and manage store budgets and assist with financial targets.
• Recruit, train, supervise and support retail staff to maintain service standards.
