Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in hospitality or management.
• Relevant work experience in management and hospitality.
• Experience supervising a team in a hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.
• Experience preparing rosters, managing stock and labour costs.
• Solid knowledge of food safety and workplace safety requirements.
• Strong organisation and ability to juggle priorities during peak times.
• Experience using POS systems and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organise and oversee daily store operations including opening/closing.
• Direct food preparation and service to ensure quality and standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise and develop team members.
• Prepare rosters and manage staffing levels per trading needs.
• Monitor sales, labour and food costs; drive improvements.
• Oversee stock levels, ordering, deliveries and stock takes.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleaning procedures.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and operating policies.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Oversee cash handling, till reconciliation and daily sales reporting.
