Frontline Recruitment Group – Rothwell QLD is seeking an energetic Assistant Manager to support a busy Brisbane quick-service restaurant. You will lead the team, uphold standards, and ensure fast, friendly service while managing shifts, training and quality control.

You will help with rostering, stock checks and food safety, working closely with the Restaurant Manager to develop a high-energy, customer-focused operation and progress toward hospitality leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in quick-service/hospitality with leadership and team development.
• Customer-first attitude with commitment to friendly, efficient service.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and WHS.
• Experience coordinating shifts and supporting daily restaurant operations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills; calm under pressure.
• Hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team during busy periods.
• Flexibility to work rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of a busy quick-service restaurant in Brisbane.Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, you will help lead the team, maintain operational standards and ensure customers receive fast, friendly and consistent service. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within quick-service restaurants, retail, or any high-volume hospitality establishments, showing strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
• A customer-first attitude, with a commitment to delivering friendly and efficient service.
• An understanding of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience coordinating shifts, allocating tasks and supporting daily restaurant operations.
• Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team during busy service periods.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
