Job summary

Sunset Home Living in Cairns is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the showroom and sales team. This hands-on role will blend sales leadership with day-to-day store operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience and strong results.

You’ll lead from the floor, motivate staff, coach performance, manage rosters and keep the showroom to high merchandising standards while collaborating with the owners on future growth and store success.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a retail sales team.
• Comfortable meeting sales targets and driving results.
• Experience in furniture/homewares or high-value retail is valued.
• Hands-on leader able to work from the showroom floor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve store targets.
• Drive sales and deliver strong customer experiences.
• Coach and support team performance and development.
• Manage rosters and daily store operations.
