Job summary

Porter's Paints in Woollahra, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service. You will oversee stock, merchandising, and staff coaching while maintaining high standards of presentation and efficiency.

This full-time role offers 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a rotating Saturday, and benefits including private health extras, staff discounts, and a culture of growth and recognition within the DuluxGroup network.

Qualifications

• Training in colour and design or extensive experience in the paint industry.
• People management skills.
• Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to exceed the highest levels of customer service.
• Reliability and excellent communication skills.
• You’re physically fit (you’ll be lifting paint tins up to 25kg).

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities of the store ensuring profitable operations and high levels of customer service.
• Responsible for sales/profit performance, stock management and merchandising.
• Staff coaching and development, tinting of paints, and general housekeeping.
• 38 hours per week at Porter Paint Store in Woollahra, NSW; Monday–Friday plus rotating Saturday mornings.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Retail Manager your role will be to manage the daily activities of the store ensuring profitable operations and consistently high levels of customer service. You will be responsible for all aspects of store management including sales/profit performance, stock management and merchandising, staff coaching and development, tinting of paints, and general housekeeping.

Most importantly, the successful applicant will be passionate about the role, inspire staff to achieve their goals, excite customers in our full range of products, and offer expert technical advice, providing solutions to our customer's needs.

This is aFull-timerole of 38 hours per week based at ourPorter Paint Store in Woollahra, NSW. It is essential you are available Monday - Friday and every second Saturday morning on a rotating roster.
