Job summary

DuluxGroup in Mile End, SA, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, coach staff, ensure exceptional customer service, and manage stock and merchandising at our Dulux Trade Centre.

This full-time role (38 hours) runs Monday to Friday with rostered Saturday mornings, including opening/closing and cash handling. We offer market-leading development pathways, health perks, product discounts, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Provide high levels of customer service and assistance.
• Handle cash and processing at point of sale.
• Maintain inventory levels and stocking accuracy.
• Assist in tinting and mixing paints.
• Build and maintain depot/agency relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and coaching of staff.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and store presentation.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Manage stock levels and merchandising across the store.
• Support rostering including Saturday mornings.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll support daily operations, lead and coach staff, ensure strong customer service, oversee inventory and merchandising, and manage opening, closing, and cash procedures to help drive overall store performance. This is a full‑time role of 38 hours per week based at our Mile End, Dulux Trade Centre Store. The ability to work Monday - Friday and rostered Saturday mornings is essential.
