Job summary

DuluxTrade Centre Store in South Melbourne, VIC is seeking a full-time Store Assistant to welcome and assist trade and DIY customers. You will learn to mix and tint paint, provide product recommendations, and handle transactions. The role is based at the Dulux Trade Centre Store, with a rotating roster Monday–Friday and Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• You love working with people and making them feel welcome.
• Experience in Paints & Coatings is advantageous; trade/construction retail is valued.
• You’re a great communicator and a natural problem-solver.
• You’re physically fit and able to lift paint tins up to 25kg.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Welcoming and assisting trade and DIY customers with genuine care
• Offering advice and product recommendations that make a difference
• Mixing and tinting paint (we’ll teach you—it’s easier than it sounds!)
• Handling transactions and keeping the store looking its best

This is aFull-time role of 38 hours per week, based at ourDulux Trade Centre Store in South Melbourne, VIC. It is essential you are available to work Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings on a rotating roster.

What We’re Looking for

• Experience within Paints & Coatings is highly advantageous and desirable, however Trade and/or Construction retail experience will be highly regarded
