Job summary

Tucker Fresh IGA in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead one of our local stores. You will own day-to-day operations, drive sales, manage budgets, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Reporting to the leadership group, you will oversee staffing, stock, safety and compliance, and work to maintain our promise that every local is loved, while contributing to our community-focused approach and store profitability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supermarket retail management, ideally in a Store Manager or senior leadership position.
• Strong commercial mindset with experience driving sales, profitability and KPI performance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, labour costs and operational expenses.
• Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
• Customer-first approach and commitment to high standards.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Store Manager to lead one of our Tucker Fresh IGA stores, taking ownership of day-to-day operations, team performance and overall store success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate supermarket leader who can drive sales and profitability while building a positive team culture and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will oversee all aspects of store operations, from financial performance and departmental standards to recruitment, team development and customer satisfaction. Leading by example, you will empower your team to achieve their goals while ensuring our stores continue to deliver on our promise that every local is loved.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of daily supermarket operations to achieve sales, profit and operational targets.
• Drive financial performance by monitoring KPIs, reviewing financial reports, managing budgets and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Recruit, develop, engage and retain a high-performing team.
• Build a positive, supportive and accountable workplace culture aligned with Tucker Fresh IGA’s values.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and maintain high standards across all departments.
• Manage staff rostering, timesheets, leave requests and labour requirements effectively.
• Delegate responsibilities, coach team members and develop future leaders within the business.
• Monitor stock management, merchandising, presentation and operational standards.
• Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety, food safety and other relevant requirements.
• Build strong relationships with customers, team members, suppliers and the local community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:
