Job summary

Pacific Motor Group on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a stock controller to coordinate vehicle stock across brands, manage licensing and transfers, and support the sales team with accurate admin duties.

You will maintain data in internal systems, address discrepancies, and work to ensure timely settlements. Immediate start, full-time, with career development opportunities on offer.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock control or a similar role is highly desirable.
• Current Queensland Driver's Licence is required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Auto IT Dealer Management System experience is advantageous.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Capable of performing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of motor dealership systems is advantageous.
• Professional phone manner and customer focus.
• Accreditation/registration experience with transport authorities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage vehicle stock control across brands and locations on Sunshine Coast.
• Claim manufacturer incentives and bonuses as applicable.
• Maintain and update internal systems to ensure data accuracy.
• Complete licensing, registration, transfers and dispositions for new/used vehicles.
• Support sales team with process and administrative duties to ensure timely settlements.
• Highlight and resolve discrepancies through control measures.
• Facilitate the inventory purchase process with accuracy and timeliness.

About the role

• Coordinating and managing vehicle stock control across our brands and dealership locations on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
• Claiming manufacturer incentives and bonuses
• Managing and updating internal systems to ensure data is always current and reliable
• Completing all used/new vehicle licensing, registration, transfers, and disposals
• Communicating and assisting the sales team with the sales process and administration duties to ensure settlements are completed accurately and in a timely manner
• Manage control measures to ensure errors, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved
• Facilitate the administrative inventory purchase process with accuracy and timeliness

Candidate requirements

The role will require the successful candidate to showcase their exceptional organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment. It will require someone who is confident, organised, process driven and reliable. This role will suit someone who is looking for a role that they can truly make their own.

Qualifications & Experience

• Established history in a stock controller or similar role is highly desirable
• Current Queensland Drivers Licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate to high level computer skills (Auto IT Dealer Management System experience is advantageous)
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Knowledge of Motor Dealership systems and basic understanding of automotive industry is highly regarded
• Confident and professional phone manner
• Accreditation with the Department of Transport/Registration experience is advantageous. Alternatively, training can be provided.
