Job summary

Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking a Full Time Team Leader to join our Stewarding team. Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will lead and develop junior staff, deliver extensive training, and ensure operations meet HACCP, hygiene and WHS standards.

You will partner with Culinary and Food & Beverage to maintain spotless hygiene, control costs, and maximise guest satisfaction while upholding Hyatt’s service standards across a large hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a hotel setting preferred.
• Experience in large operations preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of HACCP, hygiene practices and WHS regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Full valid Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop junior stewarding staff with extensive training.
• Ensure efficient, safe and hygienic operation of Stewarding.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Food & Beverage to maintain hygiene standards.
• Implement cost-control measures and maximise guest satisfaction.
