Job summary

Tecside Group is seeking Machine Operators at Erskine Park for an immediate start. This role offers a 12-hour rotating roster and above-award pay up to $1,700 per week, with temp-to-perm opportunity.

You will operate overhead gantry cranes to move structural steel, load/unload shipments, and assist with cutting on bandsaws. 1–2 years heavy industrial experience and a pre-employment medical are required; crane ticket is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in a heavy industrial, steel, or manufacturing warehouse.
• Overhead Gantry Crane or Dogging ticket highly regarded (not essential)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening and physical assessment

Responsibilities

• Operating overhead gantry cranes to move structural steel safely.
• Loading and unloading incoming steel shipments and outbound delivery trucks.
• Picking steel beams, channels, and plates against pick slips.
• Assisting with cutting operations on bandsaws and cropping machines

Our client is a leading name in heavy steel manufacturing and distribution, supplying structural steel across Sydney's industrial and construction sectors. They're looking for experienced Machine Operators to join their Erskine Park distribution centre on a temp-to-perm basis.
