NLH Workforce is seeking a motivated Steel Operator in Brisbane to operate steel processing machinery and CNC Laser equipment. The role starts on day shifts during training, with competency assessments before progressing to permanent duties.

You will handle steel via forklift, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean workspace. A forklift licence is essential, and prior steel or CNC experience is advantageous.

• Must hold a valid Forklift licence.
• Previous steel experience highly advantageous.
• Prior experience with CNC machinery desirable.

The Role:

Be responsible for operating a range of machinery, including CNC programmed equipment for the production of structural steel. The role will commence on day shifts until training and assessment has been completed. All training provided, but a background in production and steel is desirable.

Your Duties:

• Operate steel processing machinery
• Operate CNC Laser equipment
• Handle and maneuver steel material via forklift
• Carry out quality control duties to ensure top tier product
• Maintain a clean and tidy workspace

Working Hours:

Initial training will take place on the day shift until managers have assessed competency.

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience in a similar role or industry
• Musthold a valid Forklift licence
• Previous steel experience highly advantageous
• Prior experience with CNC machinery is desirable
