Job summary

Synergie Group in Bathurst, NSW, is partnering with an established steel company to recruit Machine Operators for day shift. This hands-on role involves operating wire production machinery, setting up equipment, and performing basic quality checks.

You’ll work in a clean, safe environment with training provided; overtime opportunities and long-term employment are available based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential).
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Must be available to train in dayshift before moving to night shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wire production machinery.
• Set up machines and ensure smooth production runs.
• Bundle steel and perform repetitive manual labour tasks.
• Perform basic quality checks and adjustments.
• Follow safety procedures and production standards.

Our client is currently looking for Machine& OverheadCrane operators across Western Sydney to join their team to help provide reobar and mesh products in NSW.

What you’ll be doing:

• Operating and monitoring wire production machinery
• Setting up machines and ensuring smooth production runs
• Bundling Steel, repetitve manual Labour roles
• Performing basic quality checks and adjustments
• Following safety procedures and production standards
• Working as part of a team to meet daily targets

What we’re looking for:

• Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Machine operators within steel industry
• lifting upto 25-30kg
• Physically Fit and Healthy
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not required)
• Must be available to train in dayshift before moving to night shift
